Privacy Policy

OneDay (“we”, “the app”) is a personal ledger for finishing one Main goal. This policy describes what the iOS app and oneday.so collect, why, and how you control it. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Account. Email address (Sign in with Apple or email one-time code) and a user ID so we can authenticate you and sync account-level records.
- Goals and days. Your Main finish line, monthly goal, daily Musts, evening close, misses, and related notes you type in the app.
- Proofs. Photos and notes you attach as evidence of progress. Photos stay on your device in the app’s storage. We do not upload them to our servers.
- Mentor messages. Messages you send to the mentor, and replies. These are sent to our API and then to OpenAI so the mentor can respond. Do not put secrets in chat that you would not want processed that way.
- Microphone and speech. If you dictate to the mentor, the device microphone and Apple speech recognition turn audio into text. We do not keep the audio file.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can send reminders you opted into (evening close, miss recovery, Sunday). You can turn these off in iOS Settings.
- Subscription. Apple is the merchant of record. We store a verified subscription identifier and expiry so we can sync status after Apple confirms a purchase, renewal, refund, or revoke. We do not receive your full card details.
How we use it
Only to run OneDay: sign you in, keep your ledger, send opted-in reminders, provide mentor replies, and confirm subscription access. We do not use your content for advertising. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Third parties
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- OpenAI — processes mentor and onboarding messages you send, to generate replies.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, optional speech recognition, and push delivery.
- Vercel — hosts oneday.so and the API.
Export and delete
In the app, open Settings. Export my data shares a JSON copy of the ledger stored on this device. Delete account permanently removes your account, server-side records we store for you, and signs you out. This cannot be undone. You can also email oneday.so.help@gmail.com.
Children
OneDay is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
